Care Instructions
Machine wash 30°. Re-shape whilst damp. Do not tumble dry.
Each year WYS processes thousands of kilos of British wool; every spin leaves an excess amount of material that would usually wind up as ‘waste’.
This wool is a result of the collection of all this valuable and perfectly good fibre which is gathered after each clean down of the spinning frames. Next, it is sent to their local production partner to card, comb and convert back into tops before it arrives back at their mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out again to be dyed locally, and once dyed, it’s back to the mill for finishing, balling and packing. Sustainability is at the heart of everything WYS, and all of this takes place within a 10-mile radius – something which they are extremely proud of.
Comment: The wool has a soft handle and is good for accessories and clothing, and knits up as sport /DK. It is amazing value for the quality, highly recommend.
