This yarn is made by a small family run mill in India, using surplus textiles and leftover wool from local garment production. This yarn is smooth, quite dense, non scratchy and can be machine washed. It feels more like a wool/cotton blend and will hold its shape after blocking. It has good stitch definition and will make well structured garments and accessories. Blocking your gauge swatches will provide a better estimate of your tension. This yarn seems to soften after washing.
