Knitting for Olives's heavy merino is 100 % traceable non-mulesed Merino wool and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 approval rating. It is spun in a way to minimize pilling and to produce garments that would wear well and long lasting. It is not as soft as its thinner soft merino (light fingering weight). It is great for sweaters and can be combined with other yarns like silk mohair for extra softness and bulk.
