ISAGER TWEED is a single ply and a blend of 70% wool and 30% mohair. This yarn has a slightly irregular, homespun look, yet the mohair fibres give the yarn a remarkable softness and a lovely sheen. Isager Tweed works equally well for both indoor and outdoor garments and with the small flecks in different colours the yarn has a very lively surface. As tweed is a twisted spun one ply yarn, the knitted fabric might exhibit a little bit of skewness, add false seams in the round garments may help or knit flat and seam garments instead. This yarn is a good substitute for Kate Davies's Milarrochy Tweed.
